The outcome of MySelf

We spend our whole lives trying to understand and then control the world around us, but when we shift the focus inwards, the external seems less chaotic.

We live in a volatile, uncertain and complex world. It is impossible to have control over external factors, and in doing so, we become stressed, frustrated and intolerant.

All you really have control over is yourself, your thoughts, feelings and actions. If something in your life isn’t working, first look at yourself and how you have become part of the problem. From this place, you can see yourself as part of the solution, becoming empowered to ignite a positive change.

Once you understand that you are responsible for your own life, and you are the master of your own destiny, your whole outlook on life shifts.

Your ability to manage how you feel, think and act is known as emotional intelligence (EQ) and it can be developed. In fact, EQ is a top 5 desirable skill for leaders, and according to Pew Research Centre, X-Gen is the most skilled (68% cited this as a strength).

I told you that you were primed to lead.

By doing the inner work, you will be confident with the person you are and won’t feel the need to hide anymore or pretend to be something you’re not. Your decision making will become congruent with your vision and values and everything becomes easier. There is no downside. You are going to care more about yourself, others and the world around you.

Managers manage the status-quo, leaders ignite change and followership towards a vision for a better life and world.

When you are self aware you have clarity and certainty. You are able to stay grounded when chaos is all around you

You will be empowered to make decisions and own the impact because you consciously decide.

When you know yourself, you can understand others. You are more compassionate and seek to undertsand.
