Leading your team

Now that you have more clarity on your team, it's time to reflect on and remind yourself your role as a leader in your team. Are you the kind of leader who is adapting to the needs of the team? Are you communicating clearly to help your team 'see the big picture'? Are you creating an environment of learning and development, and set the example of 'this is how it's done right'?

How it Works

The key is: stay in your lane, know what your objective is and how you want your people to work together, the culture, behaviours, values and outcomes. Then assess how you need to “be” on the team. How you need to show up every day, how you can best serve your people.

Remember that leading a team is far from easy. You have to be part of your team. As Simon Sinek explains in the video above 'take credit' when it's going well, but also 'take accountability' when things have not worked out. Of course, to become LeaderX, you have to ensure you know everything about your team.
