Understanding generations for their differences

This course will help you understand the similarities and differences between generations in the workplace. By 2025, 56% of the workforce will be under 40. With more employees staying in employment after 60 due to improved health and economic factors, and the two largest generations taking key positions in organisations, leaders need to be aware of the potential clashes of inter-generational behaviours.

To understand the generations, you will be taking a closer look at who they are and how they were influenced by the world around them as they grew up and their attitudes to work and life.

LeaderX was written a call to the forgotten generation, the middle child, called Generation X and the Xennials. In the 2020’s they will be reaching the most senior positions within the organisation and will influence the way in which organisations are led. A typical LeaderX was born between the early 1970’s and early 1980’s. Their environment shaped them and their values in a very specific way. They reached adulthood in the later 1990’s and the millennium and now, in 2020, they are ready to take on big leadership roles.

However, they are the forgotten generation, not much is written or spoken about them. This course is about to change that.

The emphasis has always been placed on Baby Boomers and Millennials, and now Gen Z, but X-Gen remains ignored.

You will learn about Boomers, GenX, Millennials and Generation Z, and how to lead them and help them work together cohesively.

"YOU, AS THE NEXT GENERATION OF LEADERS, ARE THE BRIDGE BETWEEN 20THCENTURY ATTITUDES TO WORK, CAREER AND LIFE, AND THE 21ST-CENTURY VIEW OF HAPPINESS, FREEDOM, GLOBALISATION AND HUMANITY."
