The values of Millennials

Millennials values have been found to be:

They enjoy meaningful work. The focus is on having a greater impact on society or the world. The mindset of “I matter”.

Loves to collaborate with others. They do this through kindness, inclusion, sharing, teamwork and discussion.

Appreciates collective responsibility.

Thrives for the feeling of belonging. They want to feel like they are part of something and fit in with the team around them. Unlike Baby Boomers, they desire emotional connections and personal relationships.

A focus on social justice. This includes Corporate social responsibility, supporting a movement or a cause and taking a stand for what they believe is right.

Dislikes working in an environment they do not believe is diverse and inclusive.

The encouragement of higher education for Millennials have made them value learning, developing themselves and those/things around them and being educated.

Millennials being bought up in fear means they are hopefully sceptic. They hope for a brighter day that is created together as a team.
