It requires skill and application as we are inherently swayed by our own emotions, experiences and bias, meaning that often we search for answers that support our wants and needs - not the truth.

A Cultural Web Analysis is a useful tool for considering whether cultural change needs to be implemented and what gaps / assumptions an organisation currently has which may impact the implementation of a change.
The tool has seen widespread use beyond Toyota, and is now used within Kaizen, lean manufacturing and Six Sigma but can equally be used in any problem solving analysis.
